NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, under the U.S. Department of Commerce, is home to one of the seven uniformed services of the United States, the NOAA Commissioned Corps. In 2017, NOAA's Commissioned Officer Corps, the NOAA Corps, will celebrate its 100th anniversary. Activities throughout the year will honor the NOAA Corps' heritage, history and 100 years of supporting NOAA's scientific missions.
Join us to honor the men and women of the NOAA Corps, wage mariners, and others who provide daily support.
Sponsorships will provide funding for Centennial activities throughout 2017 in places such as Norfolk, VA; Newport, OR; Tampa, FL; Pascagoula, MS; Honolulu, HI; Seattle, WA; Woods Hole, MA; San Diego, CA and other locations. Funding will also support for the NOAA Association of Commissioned Officers, NOAA Officers Family Association and scholarships. In addition, a capstone anniversary event will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in Washington, DC.
Below is a snapshot of the sponsorship levels and benefits.
